The 2005 vintage, similarly to the previous vintage, was characterised by typical Central Mediterranean winter climatic conditions and cool summer temperatures which led to a slow maturation process and late harvesting, giving deep red, well structured, balanced wines.

Appearance
Medium intensity with a medium ruby core and a thin ruby rim.
Nose
Moderate developing aromas of a red fruit character: forest fruits, strawberries and cranberries, soft spice and a mineral earthy hint.
Palate
Soft acidity and medium body with a good level of tannins slightly rough around the edges distinguished by mineral nuances on the palate. Warm alcohol and a medium finish.
